| I've been a very satisfied customer for about three years now. Best shop I've encountered anywhere. If I could give them more stars I would. Recently the engine in my 2010 VW GTI blew. Mainly because I needed the car back on the road a.s.a.p., Total sourced an engine out of Vancouver rebuilt by VW, which included the engine updates VW has made since 2010. I received a detailed quote outlining the cost of the engine, the warranty, labour and all other associated costs for the engine swap, subject to my approval. As the engine swap progressed, Total also pointed out that there were two other items that were coming up for imminent replacement, and I was given quotes that outlined the labour savings if I were to have them done now rather than later. I very much appreciated that and gave them the go-ahead to do it now. I was also shown the disassembled, clearly worn turbo from the old engine that was a likely contributor for its catastrophic oil consumption before the engine failed. Everything was explained clearly and carefully to me including a quote for a replacement turbo. Over 1,000 km. and two complimentary oil level checks later, the engine is running like a top. Not only did the entire job not exceed the quotes, but came in slightly below. I unequivocally recommend Total Automotive for its honesty, vast knowledge and expertise, fastidious workmanship and unparalleled customer service. Big shout-out to the lads at front of house, the ever-cheerful Ford and Braden, and to ever intrepid mechanic, Kyle. And kudos to owner, Gerry Cranley, for assembling and maintaining this primo shop of mechanics with such integrity! |

| I am a not very knowledgeable person when it comes to vehicles, and I had this innate fear of going to the ?shop? for the fear of being taken advantage off because I knew nothing about my car. I felt so comfortable at Total Automotive, they are very roffeaional and I will be going to them for all my car needs from here on in! Thanks Total Auntomotive! |

| If I could give more stars I would. I know nothing about vehicles, so the expertise and trustworthiness demonstrated by Total Automotive means they've earned a customer for life. They saved me when everyone else said my SUV was junk and to sell it cheap for scrap. Yeah right, they tried to scam me, because Total Automotive found the REAL source of the problem and after fixing it my SUV is still doing great. |
